the guaranteed

there is only one thing and one thing only that is guaranteed upon us, which is death.

death is something which has been promised to every single one of us,

we will all die.

God.

every time i utter this in my mind, i would immediately feel that every problem that i have in this world seems so small.

because normally, the problem that i was having will not even matter once i die.

i know some people are scared to face death,

so do i.

but at the same time, it gives a certain kind of comfort knowing that every struggle, every pain that you had in this world to worship Him will be rewarded.

there's one dua that i would always recite,

which is,

"Oh Lord, let my death be my success. Let my death be my eternal happiness. For me, for my families and for the people who I care. Let death become something that we're looking forward to"

with this dua,

my fear turns into a yearn,

i yearn for the eternal happiness,

but i know i am yet to be done preparing for the eternal life,

until i am able to really focus on the things that matter.

i know we all have our own struggles and focus in life,

but let's not forget our very reason of why we're here,

which is to worship God,

to prove to Him that we are worthy of His jannah.

it is so easy to get distracted as we go through life,

but He has reminded us again and again in the Quran

that this world is nothing but an illusion.

and that we are here to be tested,

to see who has the best deeds,

and those shall be rewarded with the eternal jannah.

I pray that may our deaths will become our eternal success upon us inshaaAllah.
